~~Trust me...this title is somewhat relevant.~~

To be perfectly honest, after weeks of inactivity with my LJ...
I was supposedly going to post something with crack but...

I just can't.

I should be happy that there aren't any classes on Monday...
I should be happy I have more "Lena Fun Time"...
I should be happy that I'm slowly getting back the things I lost, but...

It's just not easy to be happy when you know your friends,
along with innocent people, are having a hard time.

I'm thankful to God that me and my family were safe but...
I just can't help but feel sad with whats going on with the other people I care for. T^T

There was a storm that swept our country yesterday...
Apparently, it wasn't just some regular
"oh-its-okay-classes-will-be-suspended" storm. :|

It was a storm that flooded so many places...
I'm sure that some are probably thinking
"Okay, so there was a flood. Big whoop, that happens all the time."

But its not as funny as people think when the people they care about are having a hard time...seeing people swimming away in deep, dirty waters to save themselves...

Its not as funny when you have to evacuate the only place that could ever make you feel safe... and see everything you had disappear in a blink of an eye.

Its not as funny when you're forced to leave behind your animal companion...and come back seeing them DEAD because they DROWNED.

Its not as funny when you lose your own family somewhere in those deep, running waters.

When I lost my bag, I had a hard time slowly getting back the things I lost. It was hard coping up with my subjects and it was difficult to save the small savings I had.

What more if you lost what was in your home?
What more if you lost everything?

And what pains me the most is imagining what would have happened to people with only makeshift homes to live with each day. >_<

I just hope and pray that my friends, and the other victims will be able to rebuild what they had and get back up on their feet again.

Hopefully, the schools will be kind enough to give them time to gain back all that was lost.

So whether you live in this country or not...
Whether you care or not...
I still wish the best for all of you in my f-list. ♥

I hope you guys stay safe and in good health. :)

So heres whats been going on lately....

(But I have to warn you...LONG POST AHEAD.)

As most of you know, there is an A(H1N1) outbreak here in our country...and apparently, My school has been on the news lately because were pretty much the only school in Manila who's NOT SUSPENDING. XD;; (Well, at least thats what I know.)

So what did most of the students do after all this so-called injustice ?
Simple, they started a boycott. Yes, a BOYCOTT.
~~Which I thought would fail but I was wrong...WAY, WAY WRONG.~~

Here's the message that was passed around:
Knollers, Parents are asking for the MCHS students full COOPERATION to boycot our classes starting on Thursday and have our 10 day quarantine. We already have 17 confirmed cases of Ah1n1 and 14 came from HS. 500+ students are under quarantine. All Principals already want to suspend but Miriam President Licuanan will only suspend if 80% of the school's population has been affected. Let us not wait for that to happen, if only a small number of students will go to school. President Licuanan will have no choice but to suspend the classes for a 10 day quarantine. This is for us students and our dear teachers. Again please cooperate! Please pass to other MCHS STUDENTS!

For some of you guys dont know about this...now you know. :D

But honestly, I DONT WANT TO BOYCOTT. Its not because I'm afraid but because I think its a waste of time! Why? I'll tell you.

Fact 1:
WERE NOT GOING TO DIE. AHINI WONT KILL US!
Sadly, it wont turn us into zombies either.
*sigh* Goodbye, Zombie Apocalypse Theory.
I'd be more afraid of DENGUE or CANCER, if I were you.
~~though I still have a phobia of getting sick. >.<~~

Fact 2:
The reason why most (and by that, I mean not all of us.) people are doing this is mostly because were envious of other schools who suspended! While were in school busting our asses studying.

Fact 3:
Even if we were suspended...LETS FACE IT.
We really are just going to stay at home abusing the internet ~~while reading porn~~ or go to malls and watch movies or something.

Fact 4:
Whether we suspend or not...the virus will still keep on spreading anyway, and our school will just have to suspend and suspend.

BUT EVENTUALLY, IT WILL COME AND GET ALL OF US SOON.
SO, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? WERE BOUND TO GET SICK SOMETIME.
~~Though, I still hope I wont be part of the people who do get sick. XD;;~~

Fact 5:
I AM NOT GOING TO SKIP SCHOOL
WITHOUT BEING SURE THEY WILL REALLY SUSPEND.
TRUST ME, I DONT LIKE STUDYING EITHER BUT...SHEESH.
I MADE TOO MUCH EFFORT IN STUDYING TO JUST LET IT WITHER AWAY BECAUSE OF SUSPENSION! AND NO ONE...

AND I MEAN NO ONE! WILL EVER MAKE ME WASTE ALL THAT WORK FOR NOTHING. I DONT WANT TO END UP REVERTING BACK TO MY EXTREMELY LAZY SELF.

LAZY ME = DO NOT WANT.
But hey! Look at the bright side!
1. We wont have Saturday classes.
2. We'll be titled as a tough school for not suspending.
[BECAUSE REAL WOMEN DONT GET SICK.]
3. Ahini medication is now free. (or so my cousin said.)
4. We wont have to give up semestral break.
5. We'll be having a good and pressure less break, and the rest of the schools are busting their asses BIG TIME.
6. You wouldnt be bored! But if your teacher is boring...than at least you have your classmates to suffer with you!
7. We can laugh at others for being such weaklings that they suspended. *gets stoned to death* ~~Sorry guys. XD;;~~
8. We wouldnt have to waste tuition money.
9. You'll get to see your friends~ (MAYBE CRUSHES? WHUT. XD;;)
AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST...

The H1N1 Virus is quickly spreading all over the world.
I'm not that angry even if they're not suspending our classes...

BUT NO GAY HUGGING!?!? WTF. NO REALLY. I'M SAD.

I HAPPEN TO LIKE GAY HUGGING MY FRIENDS AND GLOMPING THEM AT VERY RANDOM MOMENTS WHILE TELLING THEM THINGS LIKE SHISHIDO'S SEXY OR THEY'RE SEXY. D8 D8 D8

How did we know they're not suspending? Simple.

Basically...I was like a dying person that its not even funny. =|

1. Cellphone: I always carry it with me just incase somebody calls or texts~ Though sadly most of the time I always have no load or battery. XD;; BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT IT IS...I use it as an excuse when I shout "PDA ISNT ALLOWED!!" in the mall. XD

2. Used Tickets: I tend to keep the tickets in the pocket of my bag after every movie~! I also want to keep track of the movies I watched in the theatre. ~~I keep on forgetting. XD;;~~

3. A random Pokemon card: I have no idea why but...all of my bags have a pokemon card in it. :| [...all of them are water cards. XD]

4. Alcohol: I end up going sitting and grabbing on to random things like poles or gates and stuff so my hands end up dirty...which is why I carry this awesome thing. 8D

5. Doublemint Gum: I dunno~ I just like chewing gum. 8D ~~also because this is cheap compared to the other brands of chewing gum.~~

6. Picture Wallet: I CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT. D8 XD;;

7. Strawberry Chapstick: My aunt gave it to me because she said my lips were drying. XD;;

8. Brush + Mirror: a Christmas gift from a friend at school.

9. Silver Piggy of Love: Also called My Wa-Wa orr...just plain wallet XD Silver Pair = Silver Wallet. It makes sense. :D

10. ~~Atobe Version~~ iPod: I cant live without music. D: Speaking of Atobe version iPod....HERE ~~MINE CAN BE A JYOSEI VERSION TOO!~~

11. A Blue and Black Pen: I carry it everywhere for certain situations~

12. NOT A HAIR BALL THING: ITS MY HAIR TIE. :D

13. Axe Cologne: ....I use it because they were giving away free samples. XD;;

I dont really have any decorations or posters on my wall...
although I have small shelves attached to it. :D

1. Bags and an old radio: All of the bags there were just given to me as presents since I dont buy much stuff...and the radio was a birthday gift to me when I was 7. :D

2. Stuffed toys: they wouldnt fit on the bed so I put them there~!

3. CD's, DVD's & other stuff: thats where you can find the ones mentioned...Along with my hairbrushes, pins, glasses, small keychains, small papers, cologne & small containers.

4. Other stuffed toys and displays: will show more of it later~

5. Books and organizers: A few old school books, dictionaries (english-tagalog, japanese and spanish), 2 Bibles, 4 file organizers, a few containers and old notebooks.

6. Special things/Partial Shrine: skip~ skip~ for laterr~! 8D

7. Boxes and small containers: old cellphone boxes, different containers holding small or old materials etc.

8. Radio, palanca letters and orginizer: A radio my mom gave me for my birthday 2 years ago, palanca letters containing things that are both positive and negative about myself annd...the organizer I use for school. :D
